It is often used to carry luggage or sports facilities by individuals who travel abroad. Canvas bags are also often used by military personnel. When used by sailors, who are sometimes called sea bags in this capacity.
Tote:
A handbag is a large pocket or purse used to carry such items as books, beach wear, or everyday objects. A heavy roller bag it is usually of canvas, nylon or leather. Some containers come with a zippered compartment of the bag divided into sections. The catch-all, meaning "bear" go back to the 17th century, but has not been used to describe the stock until 1900
